Rogue Valley wineries unite to provide critical relief to local families through Rogue Valley Wine Country Cares. $10 of every “Cares” wine sold goes directly to families impacted by recent fires.
The fires in Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley have had a devastating impact on local communities, winegrowers and the people who support not only the wine industry, but the regional economy as a whole. These fires decimated the communities of Talent and Phoenix and parts of Ashland and Medford. The full impact of these fires will be felt for years to come. An estimated 2400 structures have been lost and countless businesses and families have been permanently displaced – many of them have little to no means to rebuild.
While the majority of our wineries remain open for tasting or wine pick-up (and we are so grateful for the local outpouring of support), we also recognize that so many of our friends, community members and colleagues are suffering.
Dozens of wineries have come together to sell over 50 exceptional wines designated as “Cares” wines. A minimum of $10 of every “Cares” wine sold will go directly to families in need.
